Villa Duccio - Lucca
The hills around Lucca still preserve intact a large number of villas which, from the 1600s to the 1900s, were the country residences of the most affluent local noble families.
Villa Duccio was built around the beginning of the 1800s and completely renovated with all the modern comforts while preserving the original characteristics.
The villa lies about 7 kms from the centre of Lucca in a very panoramic and peaceful area.
It is surrounded by a beautiful Italian garden with a swimming-pool.
The villa has many antique furniture and equipped with telephone, PC with internet connection, stereo with CD player, satellite-TV, dishwasher, laundry with washing-machine and drying-machine, heating.
On request a cooking service can be provided for the evening meal, as well as baby-sitting.
Villa Duccio is also a good starting-point for wonderful trips to the various parts of Tuscany:
the beaches of Versilia , Florence, Pisa and Siena.
